About me
Geoffray Estes serves as the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Supervisor for Harrisonburg City Public Schools and is the current President of the Virginia Technology and Engineering Educators Association (VTEEA). Over the course of nearly three decades in education, he has taught mathematics, engineering, computer science, robotics, cybersecurity, and dual-enrollment engineering courses while also serving in leadership roles as a department chair, STEM academy director, and school administrator.
Geoff holds an Ed.S. in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Integrative STEM Education from Virginia Tech. He is passionate about expanding student access to authentic STEM experiences through industry partnerships, robotics, engineering design, and emerging technologies. Since 2009, Geoff has been actively involved with FIRST, mentoring both FRC and FTC teams and volunteering with FLL events. His work focuses on preparing students and educators for success in an increasingly technology-driven world.
